Help Bring Relief to Families Affected by Valencia Floods

On Tuesday, August 29th, a devastating DANA storm swept through the region of Valencia, releasing an unprecedented amount of rainfall—equivalent to a year’s worth of rain—in only eight hours. This deluge caused the small river south of Valencia to overflow, triggering severe flooding across the area. In several regions, floodwaters reached over 2 meters (more than 6.5 feet), submerging homes, businesses, and essential infrastructure.

The human toll has been profound, with lives tragically lost and countless families displaced. Many have seen their homes, vehicles, and livelihoods destroyed. As the community faces the overwhelming task of recovery, Canvee Life School is committed to bringing relief to those affected.

Our trusted partners, Desata Tu Potencial and Fundación Objetivo Felicidad, have launched a fundraising campaign to provide immediate and effective support to flood victims. Both organizations are deeply connected to Valencia and are working closely with local communities to understand and address their most urgent needs.
